What is your favorite game system of all time?

N64. No question. Sure the controller is weird but it was Nintendo's first step into 3D gaming (not stereoscopic like Virtual Boy or 3DS). So many great games came out for that system.

For me it's either N64 or Gamecube. I grew up with an n64 and it was truly revolutionary. I don't really think the controller is weird. It has many ways to hold it. The gamecube was the first system I bought myself and it just had that vibe that really makes me like it. I'm going to have to go with Gamecube.

That sounds like a close minded answer. There are no good systems you like other than the X-Box 360? It has some good games but graphics aren't everything and the earlier models failed so much it wasn't even funny.

SNES. It has just a plethora of amazing games. To me, only the PS2 and DS match the sheer number of solid games on the system, but SNES gets the nod with its marquee games being just incredible. The controller scheme of 4 right thumb buttons and the advent of shoulder buttons would be adopted for years to come, and see use today in the PS3 and Xbox 360.

I agree with jt on the SNES. i would have picked it if such great games weren't out for the 64.

The snes controller was my favorite controller just because it was simple and well built.

It's obviously Virtual Boy. With such a diverse library theres a different game to play every day for two whole weeks!

Hahah, the Virtual Boy was actually a lot of fun to play, and my favorite controller was honestly the Sega Saturn controller.

N64, followed real closely by the SNES... so many great games and so many more great memories. Gaming was at it's best when Nintendo was king. Xbox 360 isn't a terrible system but it, as well as the PS3 suffer from the fact that a lot of their fans only care about pretty graphics and visuals... kids these days...............

Well that is a generalization because I don't care about graphics that much. I would much rather have a good story and well developed characters because it makes the game more interesting and fun. I still also prefer playing "retro" systems like the genesis, n64, snes, gamecube, dreamcast, and a bit of nes and gameboy just because they had a lot better games and I enjoyed them alot more.

If a game is good I'll play it, I don't care what system it's on.
