What is everyone's favorite MMORPG? I played Darkeden back in the day, almost obsessively. That was quite a while ago, though. Couldn't really get into WoW or League of Legends. (Might be because I was forced to play >_>) My all-time favorite would have to be Flyff. I love the music, the enemies, and the environment. :3 It's adorable. I've also played EvE Online, which I really enjoyed. I couldn't see myself paying for it, though. Fallout: Online looks pretty awesome. Anyone else plan to play? (And Bushy will be playing with me as soon as the servers are online! :3)What about everyone else? Share your experiences and favorite/least favorite MMOs here!

I liked RuneScape when I was younger and play it on and off today. WoW is pretty awesome. There is some Starwars Mmorpg that looke interesting. Minecraft is also really good. I also really liked adventure quest worlds when I was younger because it looked nice and was easy to play and understand.

I love WoW. It keeps me entertained for loads cheaper than buying a new game every month. I used to play EverQuest but that got old fast for me. I tried Rift. Haven't got into that one but it may need some more time before I make a final decision.

... Fallout: Online looks pretty awesome. Anyone else plan to play? (And Bushy will be playing with me as soon as the servers are online! :3)...WE SHALL SEE xD But yeah, FlyFF would have to be my favorite MMO ever. Ragnarok Online was also really good, and so is Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst. And I guess AirRivals was decent, too. Runescape for nostalgia and giggles. =D Also, on WoW; it IS a good game. Very well made by a very good company. Problem is, to me, that there isn't anything that really sets it apart from being "generic." No idea why its popularity skyrocketed, honestly. o_oa

WoWs popularity skyrocketed because of its ease of access when it first came out. It taught a lot of players how an MMO could be played. Now a days it doesn't do that. It is just as separated as any other older MMO out there and that is what makes it sad.

Nothing really set it apart from other MMOs, save for graphics and classes. Sure, it looks absolutely beautiful, but having to pay is just lame. :/ There are a lot of awesome free MMOs out there with less drama.

Aw, he knows I'm kidding. He doesn't have to play with me if he doesn't want to, although I'd be very, very happy if he did. :3 I literally just got him into Fallout. There's so much to teach him! <3
Totally forgot that I used to play Runescape. Oh, and Wurm Online. What a weird MMO.

Sounds familiar but I can't match name to the game... And fallout is an awesome series to get into. So much to learn young Bushy. Learn from the wise (your girlfriend.)

HA, indeed. xD
The only real reason I've played any MMOs at all is 'cause it kills time with friends. I hardly ever play by myself, since it doesn't seem as rewarding as playing a console game or whatever. o-o

MMOs are very rewarding - until an expansion comes out and then you repeat the same process all over again O.o

I feel like I'll start it, love it, playing it for a month or two and then never playing it again.

I feel like I'll start it, love it, playing it for a month or two and then never playing it again. A lot of people do that. Same with console games, except you cannot trade it in. For a good couple of months though, you figure around 40 for game cost, and an extra 15ish for a second month - that is only 55-60 bucks for 2 months of great gameplay, or you can use that to get that awesome new FPS that just came out, your choice LOL. There are some great free ones though. Although in my experience, free MMOs mean little to no customer support, and little to no features/expansion type deals.
