What do you think of the new portable system announced by Sony?

It looks pretty. Until I can actually play one, it doesn't interest me in the least.

A down-graded WiiU, honestly. I liked it 'til I saw what Nintendo had going for it AGAIN. The only redeeming feature far as I can tell is the rear touch pad (which sounds silly to me when you think about it =P ), and I feel as though that's unnecessary. =/

Same. I think they should've had a second pair of triggers because that the only thing I'm really going to want to do with it. It will be interesting seeing what they do with the touch pad. From what I've seen so far it looks ok. But not 250-300 bucks and the 3G is just not necessary.

250 for wi-fi only or 300 for 3G. That is a more than fair price considering the POWER that the vita has. While not hadware heavy like the 3DS is, the thing is a massive powerhouse of technology. I would easily spend that much, considering the 3DS is also the same price. It all depends on the games that come out and if there is a "must have" I will get one.

Yeah. They haven't shown me anything spectacular to win me over yet but if they release some good games or it I would have no problem spending 250-300 bucks for it. Not with what they are showing right now though. I would probably spend the extra 50 for 3G just because it would be nice to not have to have a hot spot to play online. And you would have smoother connection for only 50 bucks.

It isn't confirmed yet, but i heard the 3G is going to be free. I know for most devices you need to pay a provider for 3G access. If that is the case it will cost you an extra 20-30 a month or more just to play with 3G.

That, unfortunately, i would not be willing to do. I would pay the extra 50 and maybe a 50 dollar flat rate for unlimited 3G or like 15 bucks a year, but not a monthly bill. Free would be preferable.

It is still up in the air. I am sure they said free at E3, but that could change between now and November/December.

Eh yeah that would kinda suck. I'd probably just buy the wifi version if it was a monthly fee.

Yeah me too. But I don't think they would do that because look how big of a failure the PSP Go.

it will be both, if I remember correctly. You can either go buy a physical copy, or download it from day 1.

I'm looking forward to the system personally. Can't wait to see all the third party games that are gonna be pumped out for this system
