What did you think about the whole game boy series? Which model was your favorite? What was your favorite fame? Mine is the gameboy color and pokemon crystal.

Original GameBoy will still always have my heart. mostly cause thats what i had growing up. Me and my sister each had one, we had the 4 port link hub to connect between them so we could play games together on car trips. that and i just don't see a need for hand held game systems now. I'm never really anywhere i would use it, if i'm home, i'm on the computer or consoles, if i'm out, i'm on my phone. so i just havn't picked up a dedicated hand held system in ages

I still play my game boy advance and color because they had some really awesome games. Obviously Pokemon, Metroid Fusion, Mario 3, the Castlevania games, and so much more. I did end up getting a ds lite and a psp 3000 because I really like handheld gaming.

I loved my Gameboy color, but as a child my family would go out to dinner/food shopping late at night, so attempting to play Pokemon Silver in the darkness of the car ride was never fun. :<
I do love my SP, though. <3 I always have it with me. Favorite game would have to be a tie between Pokemon Crystal, Pokemon Pinball and Link's Awakening.

XD; I'd have to say that my SP ended up being my favorite out of all of 'em, since I never had an original GBA or GB (my most used one was my GBC, though). And Pokemon Silver would be my favorite game, as well as my favorite handheld series. I really wanna play more of the handheld Zeldas, too, since I love Link's Awakening. =D

I liked gameboy advance just because the buttons were on the side and I like that positioning better. But I liked the gameboy SP the best because the back light was built in instead of having to buy a light for extra. I also liked how you could fold it so when you put it in your pokey the screen wouldn't get scratched. Also I liked how it had a lithium ion rechargeable battery instead of batteries or having to buy one of those battery back.

ARGH! Buying batteries was one of the WORST parts of having a Gameboy, especially if you used it quite often. I'm still amazed that I need batteries for my WiiMote, as nearly every other device I have can just be charged. D:

I agree, GBA was the best of the lot. It could play any GB game, and it was awesome to boot. Series of games? Pokemon. Fave pokemon game? Silver, always has been always will be.

Yeah 2nd generation was by far the best generation ever. I liked Crystal better than Silver and Gold but they were essentially the same. ARGH! Buying batteries was one of the WORST parts of having a Gameboy, especially if you used it quite often. I'm still amazed that I need batteries for my WiiMote, as nearly every other device I have can just be charged. D: That was very annoying so I ended up buying a back pack that came with a wall charger. It was awesome because it was quick to charge but lasted for a long time. I have one for my gameboy and my Wii motes.
