My favorite Nintendo franchise is Mario Kart. Specifically Double Dash. What about you?

My favorite would definitely be Pokemon, but ya'll prolly knew that already. |D
Next up would probably be the Sonic series, then the Tales series. Zelda and Mario are pretty good too, though. =o

honestly was not a fan of double dash, just couldn't get into it. but ya, mario kart is up there for me. between mario kart and mario kart 64, me and my best friend probably logged around i'd say 500 hours or so in total during my elementary school/middle school years. However, the new one for the WII was awesome, was so reminiciant of playing MK64(which reminds me, one of my sisters friends stole my copy at a party she threw like 10 years ago, and i still need to buy a new one)favorite franchise though would have to be zelda, playing ocarina of time when it came out originally was just mind blowing. you just don't really get that feeling from games anymore, nothing like that first time you played mario in "3d" or riding the horse in zelda. everything was new and exciting during that era. I actually took the instruction booklet from ocarina of time to all star body art, pointed and the hyrulian shield/master sword.....and said...i want that, and now it's on my arm

That is awesome. Right now there really aren't many new Nintendo games that blew my mind, so I kind of stick with the redone classics like DK Country Returns, Kirby Epic, Twilight Princess... There are a couple third party games that are good for the Wii like the Conduit, No More Heroes, and Mad World... Its not as revolutionary as the older systems, but with Nintendo, and hopefully other companies, coming out with new, possibly revolutionary things like the 3DS and maybe Wii U I still hold out

Pardon my ignorance, but I had no idea the Tales series was a Nintendo franchise. D: I thought it was mixed (if that makes any sense). Mine would have to be The Legend of Zelda. I'm kind of hoping Miyamoto will make another Zelda game that's as dark as Majora's Mask. I wouldn't mind if it had a T rating, either. Twilight Princess was rated T but wasn't that bad imo. Maybe E10+. ..Then again, the whole Zant corruption storyline was a bit dark, maybe too dark for children. ._. I love Pokemon, too, but I wasn't pleased with Black and White.

To be quite honest, I didn't really appreciate the new Pokemon designs. Some of them are really awesome (Reshiram), and some are absolutely adorable (Lillipup <3), but others, like Sigilyph, look absolutely ridiculous in my opinion.
I also thought Team Plasma was a joke, and I personally couldn't stand N. I liked the battle system and the starter evolutions, but disliked the pixel-y battle sprites and the fact that we had a weaker rival.

Yeah the rival battle was pretty stupid and easy and yes some pokemon, like Trubbish were just plain stupid but the game worked smoother and looked better than the other ones. Not the best game series but just in the middle...

Pokemon ranks high up for me. But Legend of Zelda takes the cake as a favorite Nintendo Franchise.
As for Black and White, I found it refreshing that they made you only use the new pokemon to play with until you beat it. It made me feel like i was playing an entirely new game, not an expanded upon one.

Yeah. I liked Diamond and Pearl better than black and white though. I think it was because it was the first generation change that I played pokemon games/ cards for. I think generation 2 is the best.

Legend of Zelda series is my all-time favorite... Mario games are always fun, the DKC trilogy is also pretty legendary. Super Mario RPG also deserves a honorable mention... Nintendo has had a lot of good games and I've been fortunate enough to have grown up through it all... I was born in 1985 just like the NES, I can remember watching the adults in my family playing Track & Field haha, my grandma playing LoZ. I couldn't wait until I was allowed to play... Contra, Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Pac-Man, Q bert, and so many more. My first real experience with LoZ (other than watching someone else play it) was with ALttP... that game, along with OoT are simply masterpieces and without a doubt my two favorite games, of course they were right in the prime of my gaming days... idk if it's because I don't have the time anymore, or because games just don't seem to be made as well as they use to be... but I haven't really been really into a game since the early gamecube days even though I own a Wii, and a 360 (heck I'll even lump my PS2 into the category) I usually find myself going back and hooking up my SNES or my N64 to play games. When I find the time anyway between working full-time, being married, owning a house, wiffle ball, family... and all that fun stuff. Growing up sucks...
