Out of all the Zelda games, what was your favorite. I loved A Link to the Past. It was easy to play and was the first real rpg I ever played. Just awesome.

I wouldn't call Zelda a real RPG. It has elements of one, but only Zelda 2 Link's Adventure had true RPG elements. Sure you play as Link and you are essentially Link while playing the game but I don't see it that way myself.
A Link to the Past is definitely my favorite, followed by Ocarina of Time and then Twilight Princess and finally Majoras Mask. Wind Waker was good but after the first couple playthroughs, sailing the Great Sea becomes increasingly tedious.

It took too long and you had to do it to move on.

I remember us having this conversation before, and I think that the Zelda series is action/adventure with RPG elements dabbled in here and there. =o My favorite 3D Zelda is definitely Majora's Mask, followed by Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time, respectively. 2D, I'd have to say Link's Awakening [DX], the Link To The Past (I might change that some day since those are the only 2D Zelda's I've ever played xD; ). Also, anyone know anything about the Zelda timeline? |D

Majora's Mask will always be my favorite, followed by The Wind Waker. I love OoT, but MM and TWW were much more indepth and personal. I really hope Nintendo will bless us with Majora's Mask 3D. <3

OoT is probably my favorite, followed real closely by ALttP. OoT set the standard for the rest of the series, plus I was 13 when OoT came out back in '98 so it'll always hold a special place in my heart. MM is fun, but I've always considered it an extension to OoT, more like a BIG side quest, certainly unique and very enjoyable though.

That take on MM sounds legit. Next time I go to play it I will look at it that way, see if it changes how I feel about it.

Haha go for it man. I'm not trying to say that it can't stand alone on it's own... because it certainly can, that's just how I've always viewed it myself.

I was just throwing that out there because I've noticed that some people can get rather defensive... but Zelda is my favorite series and I enjoy every LoZ game... ALttP and OoT just hold a special place in my heart, and always will.

I love the idea of zelda games but when i got to play them i usually get bored quickly. One game i did like was phantom hourglass because it had puzzles but nothing that ever frustrated me too much. As for the zelda timeline I'll start a thread about that.

I can see why with Phantom Hourglass. A lot of them also take some time to get the pace going. You should try again with a console Zelda game, and give it a few hours. If then you are still bored or not intrigued, I give your comment merit iceyman02
