Which generation was your favorite and why? Mine is generation 2 because it was the first pokemon generation I played ( I bought all 3 games )

2nd gen. it expanded on Red and Blue so well. You could even go back to Kanto. It was just amazing what they could do with that game. I am still amazed, even today. I think the latest gen comes in second though. It was good, just nothing too new that we haven't seen.

Yeah. Black and White are pretty good. I traded mine because i beat. I wish pokemon games were more challenging and had longer game time. The rival in black and white was also very easy to beat.

R/B/Y... Sure more recent titles have since improved on these games... but these are the ones that started the entire Pokemon craze.

I remember Blue and Red just because it was the first handheld game and pokemon games I ever played. They will always hold a spot in my collection and memory.

Second gen all the freaking way. <3
After that, I'd have to say fifth, fourth, first, and third from favorite to not. I started with Red, and it went aaaaall downhill from there. |DDD
For those who don't know--which would be surprising if you didn't--I'm a HUUUUUUUGE Pokemon fan. I'd say I'm prolly the leading authority around here. So much research to still be done, too! LOVE IT~ <3

2nd Gen is my favorite, too. <3
1st was good, 4th was okay, 3rd was eh (only redeeming factor is Rayquaza), and the 5th is my least favorite.

Considering 1st gen should be a shoe-in and therefore not count, I'm going to say 2. Out of all of them, the 2nd gen best complimented what the 1st gen already provided while maintaining the same style. In a lot of ways, the 2nd gen is really gen 1 part 2.
The artistic abortion award was narrowly edged out of gen 3 by newcomer gen 5.

Gen 2, no doubt.

First gen really isn't all that good, in my opinion. I blame nostalgia for people defending it, honestly. It was kind of a mess of a game. xD;

I agree, but that's what made it so much fun, haha. Way better than gen 3 though..

UGH, Third Gen was the worst out of all of them. It was all over the place with the "formula;" it really didn't feel all that good to play. Now, it wasn't a terrible generation, but it was DEFINITELY the worst one. D=
