My personal favorite is Fight Club, as you can probably tell.

Fight Club never particularly tickled my fancy.
I'm a HUGE movie nerd! Some of my all time favorites include American History X, Full Metal Jacket, 12 Angry Men, Bambi, The Empire Strikes Back, Pulp Fiction, and most things Disney.

The Prequel Trilogy isn't that bad. Everybody had their own version they were hoping for and when it didn't turn out the way they hoped they all complained that the movies were horrible. Sure they could have been better, but the main focus was Anakin, not a whole rebellion.

A movie called "Network"...it came out in 1976, yet is just an incredible move all around in my humble opinion...it really puts our way of life into quite a wonderful perspective...i could watch it over and over, lol...

Gladiator, The Patriot, LotR, Star Wars... like mentioned most Disney movies are solid and I grew up on them (Aladdin being my favorite)... I also enjoy comedies: Super Troopers, Beerfest, Club Dread (Broken Lizard films are pretty awesome), pretty much anything with Chris Farley, Almost Heroes is amazingly hilarious, it's a shame he didn't live long enough to see it released.
I'm not too very picky with movies as long as they're enjoyable, action or comedy is probably my favorite genre... horror movies are typically horrible imho.

I love Star Wars, LotR not so much. Never got into it. I also like pretty much any Kevin Smith movie.

I love Star Wars, LotR not so much. Never got into it. I also like pretty much any Kevin Smith movie. Personally I put LotR slightly above Star Wars, really splitting hairs here though. The thing with both of them is that their respective universes are just gigantic , but Star Wars gets the nod when it comes to video games. You could be online reading and researching for a month and there would probably still be so much more to read about when it comes to time-line's and history of each of their worlds... it's kind of mind boggling the way they've evolved. To each their own, I'm not all that picky and enjoy each on their own merits. The thing is they're really not anything alike so they can both be great without really having to compete with each other... it's just a matter of personal tastes I guess.
